James Gay, General Manager Dragonfly Restaurant
In December of 2013, I moved to North Padre Island to escape the cold winters of Chicago. After 13 years in the Second City, it was time for a warmer climate and the salt waters of the gulf. I grew up as the last of seven children from Green Bay, Wisconsin. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2001 and worked in the Office Equipment Sales, Consiege and Business Consulting industries before returning to Hospitality Management at Dragonfly Restaurant on North Padre Island. In October of 2015, I joined the Padre Island Business Association Board and currently hold the Vice President role while being active in the planning and execution of community events. Most recently, I have started a concierge and consulting business focusing on problem solving for Community and Business expansion on North Padre Island. .Visit us @Dragonfly Restaurant

Tamay Tipton, CBS Mowing
Before moving to North Padre Island I worked as an accountant in Austin. Somewhere along the way I started learning to windsurf on Lake Travis. Some other fellow windsurfers filled me in on how good the windsurfing is here in Corpus Christi and the little gem of Bird Island Basin in the National Seashore. A perfect place to learn. I started coming down in 1988. I came down every weekend and every chance I got to windsurf. In 1995 I made the big move to North Padre Island. I have left a few times to travel and even moved to Maui for 3 years but I always, always came back to the Island. I have been here now since 2005. I worked the office at CBS mowing since then and bought the business in 2009. I love being on the PIBA board and being apart of our little community. I am also on the board of 3 condo associations. I love to volunteer in all the Island Activities. I love my island - Ohana. I have dropped Anchor this is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .Visit us @CBS Mowing
